As a Product Engineer, you will work in a team environment and be considered the primary resource responsible for providing the technical expertise needed to develop new product. You will have the opportunity to see, touch and feel your final product in our manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include:
*Participate in the entire product cycle from conception of the idea to final production of aircraft Beverage Maker products. You will be involved in the design, development, testing and validation of the product.
*Beverage Maker and component design to include stress and thermal analysis, modeling, documenting, testing, weight analysis, reliability analysis, planning, cost analysis, and interfacing with suppliers, manufacturing representatives and customers.
*Provides technical leadership to a small group of temporarily assigned engineers and technicians.
*Interface with customers to present design solution and technical review; provide technical support on existing products.
*Responsible for the safe operation of the product, qualification testing, project coordination and product support.
*Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
*Performs standard engineering assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations.
*Some travel is required

Requirements |
*Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university and a minimum of six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Must have Product development and testing experience
*Knowledge of FAA certification process is preferred
*Must have experience with writing qualification test plans, test reports, and various required certification documents
*Ability to use sound engineering judgment and analytical skills to look at the big picture, get to the root cause of the problem, and guide others in the process.
*Must be a self starter and team player
